Building a Life Skills Standard for student

Abstract

The research aims to build a standard of life skills for student. The researcher used 30 research students randomly selected from outside the basic research sample and representative of the research society at the Bella Preparatory School.
The basic research sample was selected in a deliberate manner. It reached 90 students; 10 students from each of the different education stages for the academic year 2016/2017. Where the total number of expressions for the scale was 67, the values of the correlation coefficients ranged between 0.409 and 0.680, all of which were at the level of 0.01 in all the terms of the scalr.

The most important results were: A life skills scale was constructed for the pre-university education stages, divided into (5) axes:
- The first dimension: communication skills and interpersonal relations, and includes 14 words.
- The second dimension: the management of pressures, and contains 15 words.
- dimension III: self-management, contains 10 phrases.
- dimension IV: academic academic skills, and includes 11 words.
- The fifth dimension of creative thinking, contains 17 words.
