The effect of Gyrotonic exercises program on the level of skillful performance of the basic principles of the Exercise for the students of the Faculty of Sports Education - Mansoura University

Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the effect of an educational program using the gyrotonic exercises on the level of skillful performance for the basic principles of exercise of the Faculty of sports Education in Mansoura. the experimental method   was used. The study was conducted on a sample of (40) students from the Faculty of sports Education Mansoura University who are randomly selected with using experimental design for both groups (control, experimental), The program of the experimental group under study consisted of (16) sixteen educational units distributed over 8 weeks. The experiment was carried out from 1/11/2015 to 26/12/2015 by two units per week and the unit term is 90 minutes. The study results showed that the experimental group was superior to the control group in all research variables (physical and skills) and that the proposed teaching program (using the gyrotonic exercises) of the experimental group was effective in improving the level of motor skills in study. The skillful learning of gyro tonic exercises has been effectively combined and plays an important role in improving the skillful performance of the course. The most important recommendations are: faculty members in the faculties of physical education shall use gyrotonic exercises  in teaching the basic principles of exercise because of the benefits that help to enrich the learning process and the need to include gyro tonic exercises in the plan of the gymnastics and gymnastics departments in the faculties of physical education in the Arab Republic of Egypt In order to integrate the preparation and rehabilitation of graduates of faculties of physical education and to keep up with the progress in the field of exercise and gymnastics.
