The impact of an electronic educational program using mental maps on some of the outputs of the educational process in basketball for students of the Faculty of Physical Education in Damietta

Abstract

This research aims to design an electronic educational program using mental maps in basketball for the students of the first division of the Faculty of Physical Education. The researcher used the experimental method using tribal and artefact measurements for two groups, one experimental and the other one, to suit the nature of this research. The research included (40) students representing the research community from the students of the first division In the Faculty of Physical Education University of Damietta for the academic year 2016/2017, and the most important results have a positive impact of the use of mental maps program at the level of skill, knowledge and emotional benefit of the experimental group. The researcher recommends applying the proposed program in teaching the basketball course and all courses for the students of the faculties of physical education. Preparing training courses for faculty members and their assistants on the design and use of electronic mental maps in teaching courses. - Providing original copies of specialized programs in the design of mental maps for faculty members, their assistants and students through university e-learning units. - Conducting further studies and research on the use of technological devices in the field of motor learning at the level of faculties of physical education to optimize the educational process to keep abreast of developments in developed countries.
