The effect of using the transparent loops and finger weights to learn some of the offensive skills of beginners in basketball on wheelchairs

Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the effect of using the transparent loops and finger weights to learn some of the offensive skills of beginners in basketball on wheelchairs. The researcher used the experimental approach with the design of one experimental group. The sample was limited to (22) players. They were chosen by the random purposive method. Eight (8) players were chosen as a pilot-sample and the researcher took care to be from the same population of the research and from the same age stage. Eight (8) players were excluded and the most important results were the validity of the use of the transparent loop and the finger weights, and their success in teaching the offensive skills, namely, (running with wheelchair, free throw, scrolling, dribbling, lay-up-shot) under the research, and the program achieved more positive results than the method of teaching the kills of (Running with wheelchair, free throw, scrolling, dribbling, lay-up-shot) under the research.
