Evaluation of the Curriculum for Teaching Swimming Specialties at the College of Physical Education, Mansoura University, and the College of Basic Education, Kuwait University (a comparative study)

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the curriculum of teaching swimming disciplines at the College of Physical Education, Mansoura University and the College of Basic Education, Kuwait University (a comparative study). ) Faculty members from Kuwait, (190) faculty members from the Arab Republic of Egypt, specialized in the fields of curricula and methods of teaching physical education and teaching swimming for the academic year 2022/2023 AD.

The results of the study resulted in evaluating the curriculum for teaching swimming at the College of Physical Education, Mansoura University and the College of Basic Education, Kuwait University, by evaluating the axes and phrases of the questionnaire, which contained: (general goals - targeted educational results - scientific content - methods, methods and strategies of teaching - methods and means calendar) is being searched.

In light of the results, the researchers recommend conducting more studies that put assessments, perceptions, or proposals to build curricula for specializations in teaching swimming in particular, and all the courses of the faculties of physical education in Egypt and the faculties of basic education in the State of Kuwait and the Arab world in general.
