Abstract

The researcher is conducting a study entitled The effectiveness of a program using mental visualization exercises at the level of performing an aerobic gymnastics group for the age group under 11 years. The research aims to identify the effectiveness of a training program using mental imagination at the level of performing an aerobic gymnastics group for the age group under 11 years. The researchers used the experimental approach for one group. The basic research sample was chosen intentionally from aerobic gymnastics juniors for the age group under 11 years old at the Gezirat Al-Ward Sports Club in Dakahlia Governorate, in light of the research objectives and hypotheses, within the limits of the research sample and its characteristics, the measurements used, and the methodology used, and through statistical analysis and based on the results that were reached, it was possible to conclude: Yaly:
1. The proposed mental imagery program is effective in developing the most important and basic mental skills (mental imagery) among young aerobic gymnasts.
2. The proposed mental visualization program is effective in improving the performance level of aerobic gymnastics.
3. Basic and specialized mental skills for the type of sporting activity are one of the important dimensions in developing the psychological and mental aspect of young people.
4. Mental skills (mental visualization) play an important role in improving the level of performance of aerobic gymnastics.
