And the referees registered in the records of the UAE Football Association for the 2022/2023 sports season. The results indicated that: The construction of the measure of perceived self-efficacy among football referees under investigation has proven its validity in identifying the nature of the dimensions of the measure of perceived self-efficacy among football referees. The researcher recommends the need for the referees’ committee to seek assistance from applying the perceived self-efficacy scale on a regular basis to football referees, in order to identify the nature of the dimensions of football referees’ perceived self-efficacy during the selection process for the referee who wants to practice the profession of football refereeing. An educational sports psychologist must be sought in all regions and branches of the Egyptian Football Association, and his role must be activated to undertake the process of psychological guidance and counseling for referees and train them on perceived self-efficacy and psychological skills, which may help them cope with the psychological pressures placed on them by the media, the public, players and technical staff.
