Abstract

This study aims to develop a vision or construct a proposed curriculum for swimming teaching disciplines at the College of Basic Education, Kuwait University, in the light of quality and accreditation standards. Basic Education, Kuwait University. The total number of the basic sample is (11) faculty members, representing 34.4% of the total research community for the academic year 2022/2023 AD.

The results of the study resulted in developing a vision or building a proposal for a curriculum specializing in teaching swimming at the College of Basic Education, Kuwait University, by defining (general goals - targeted educational results - scientific content - methods, methods and strategies of teaching - methods and means of evaluation) under study.

In light of the results, the researchers recommend conducting more studies that set perceptions or proposals for building swimming curricula in particular and all basic education courses in the State of Kuwait and the Arab world in general.
