Abstract

The Effect of Recreational Sports Games on Bullying Behavior Among Middle School Girls in Dakahlia Governorate.

The research aims to study the effect of recreational sports games on bullying behavior among female preparatory stage students in Dakahlia Governorate. The researchers used the experimental method by designing one experimental group with two pre and post measurements due to its suitability to the nature of the research on a sample of (24) female students who were chosen by the intentional method of the Aja Education Administration. Among the data collection tools is the school bullying scale prepared by (Magdy Mohamed El-Desouki 2016), the recreational sports program (prepared by researchers).
The search results revealed:
- The proposed recreational sports program has a positive effect in reducing some forms of school bullying among middle school students, due to the various sports activities that the recreational program contains.
- Reducing some forms of bullying for middle school students, where the rate of improvement in the responses of middle school students between the pre and post measurements of the experimental group in the bullying behavior scale was (44.36%), while the dimensions ranged between (43.85%: 46.91%).
