Abstract

- The effect of high-intensity intermittent training (HIIT) on some physiological variables (pulse rate during exertion HR - maximum relative oxygen consumption VO2/KG - maximum absolute oxygen consumption VO2 - oxygen consumption rate per pulse O2 PLUS - pulmonary ventilation VE - breathing rate BF The excretion rate of carbon dioxide (VCO2) in swimmers
. The study was conducted on a sample of swimmers enrolled in the Al-Hawar Sports Club. The sample consisted of 12 swimmers divided into two groups, 6 swimmers for the experimental group and 6 swimmers for the control group, during the age stage of 14-15 years, born in (2007, 2008) .The Researcher has been used experimental method with using of two groups one of them controlling with pre and post measurements , the others is experimental .The most important result of results has clear improvement on some Physiological Variables for experimental group which had made the High Intensity Interval Training ( HIIT ) program
