Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of a program of kinetic games on the level of performance of some basic skills in swimming for children. The research team used the experimental approach by designing two groups, one control and the other experimental, with both pre and post measurements. The research sample included (60) beginners in the sport of swimming by the intentional method. Restmeter device for measuring height in centimeters and body weight in kilograms, measuring tape for measuring distances in centimeters, stop watch for calculating time (seconds), swimming pool - float boards - palm board - kick board, fins - buoyancy buoys (buoyancy belt) - buoys Buoyancy (of the upper arm). (Preparation of the research team) as data collection tools.
In the light of the research objectives and hypotheses, and in light of the methodology used, and within the limits of the research sample and its characteristics, and data collection tools, and through scientific processing methods, and based on the results of this research, the research team concludes the following:
1. Using the motor games program to attract children's attention, which would have positive attitudes in performance.
2. Using the motor games program to shorten the time allotted for teaching the skills under study.
3. There are statistically significant differences between the post-measurements between the experimental and control groups in the level of performance of some basic skills in swimming for children in favor of the post-measurement of the experimental group.
