The effect of using the study unit with flipped learning technique on mastering the performance of the physical education lesson

Abstract

The research aims to design an educational program based on the study unit using flipped learning technology to master the performance of the physical education lesson.The researcher used the experimental approach by designing an experimental group using pre- and post-measurement. The research sample included (40)female students from the third year at the Faculty of Physical Education, Tanta University for the academic year. 2021/2022, the researcher also used the mental abilities test, the cognitive achievement test, the teaching skills form, the opinions and affective impression form, and the educational program based on the study unit with the reversed learning technique designed by the researcher. The most important results were that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post measurements of the experimental group in Cognitive achievement and teaching skills under study in favor of the post-measurement, and there are statistically significant differences in the opinions and emotional impressions of the experimental group members towards the use of the study unit with the flipped learning technique in learning the teaching skills under study.The most important research recommendations were to conduct more research to identify the effect of using flipped learning. In learning activities a And the work of training courses and seminars for teachers of physical education to explain the technology of flipped learning and how to benefit from it in the educational process and change the curricula to keep pace with technological progress and the need to use flipped learning within the learning methods in teaching.
