The effect of using mobile learning on learning some offensive skills in basketball For middle school students in the State of Kuwait

Abstract

The research aims at the impact of using mobile learning on learning some offensive skills in basketball for middle school students in the State of Kuwait. The researcher used the experimental approach with two experimental and control groups due to its suitability to the nature and objectives of the research. The research community included students of the second year of intermediate education (Ibn Taymiyyah Intermediate School for Boys) for the academic year 2021 AD - 2022 AD, and the research sample was chosen randomly from among the students of the second year, and after excluding the students who dropped out and the players, the final sample became (40) students and they were divided as follows: (20) students of the experimental group who were applied to mobile learning, (20) students of the control group who were taught in the traditional way. The results of the research concluded that the mobile learning method had a positive effect on the level of performance of the skill of peaceful shooting in basketball for students of the second year of the experimental group. For the control group within the limits of the research community and the selected sample and in the light of the research objectives and hypotheses and the results reached, the researcher recommends the following: (Using the mobile learning method in teaching basketball skills because of its positive impact on the level of learning. basketball)
