Abstract

This research aims to identify the effect of a rehabilitation program using shock waves on improving the range of motion of the ankle joint among women with osteoarthritis. And since their age ranged from 35-36 years, the researcher also relied on the means and tools that work to achieve this research, and indicated the most important results that she reached, where the researcher concluded that the proposed rehabilitation program with the application of shock waves has achieved a high level in reducing pain and restoring The functional state of the ankle joint as it was before the injury to the bone spur, and it showed its effectiveness in developing the flexibility of the ankle joint, which led to an increase in the range of motion of the joint for the affected limb and its arrival to the normal range of motion for the ankle joint, and it also led to an increase in the level of muscular strength of the leg muscles and grip strength in The injured party until it reached its counterpart in the healthy side.
