Abstract

The effect of using the Dalton method on the performance level of the passing and receiving skills in handball for female students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Mansoura University

The research aims to identify the effect of using the Dalton method on the level of performance of the passing and receiving skills in handball for female students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Mansoura University. The second of the academic year 2021/2022 AD, they were randomly selected and divided into two groups, one of them was an experimental group consisting of (31) female students, and the other was a control group consisting of (32) female students. Handball for students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Mansoura University.

In light of the objectives of the research, its hypotheses, the sample, its characteristics and capabilities, and the measures that have been implemented to achieve the objectives of the research and test its hypotheses, and through statistical treatments, the following could be drawn:

1- Dalton's method contributed in a positive way to improving the performance level of the passing and receiving skills in handball for the female students of the experimental group.

2- The traditional method (explanation and model performance) contributed in a positive way to improving the performance level of the passing and receiving skills in handball for the students of the control group.
