Abstract

This study aims to identify the biomechanical characteristics of the jumping skill of children aged (9:12) years in Gharbia Governorate using two-dimensional biomechanical analysis. Choosing the research sample by the intentional method and numbering (10) female children under 10 years, and the results of the study indicated that although the jumping skill is done using the two legs, the arms play a major role in achieving the mechanical goal, during the moment of breaking the contact of the foot with the ground must The arms move quickly and forward in the direction of the jump, then the thigh connection with the arms moves, during the moment of maximum height of the center of the body, the position of the arms must be maintained in the direction of the jump quickly, during the moment of landing there must be a slight bend in the knees while maintaining that the feet do not move to the sides during Landing to maintain balance and not to cause injury, and accordingly the researchers recommend to be guided by the findings of the researchers in evaluating and building educational and training programs for the running skill of children, paying attention to running exercises For the speed characteristic of the muscles of the arms, attention to placing the head link in particular while teaching the running skill of children, the use of three-dimensional biomechanical analysis using modern measurement methods in evaluating, teaching and training various sports skills..
