The impact of gender and stage of study overlap on the level of mental health of physical education teachers

Abstract

This study aims to build a measure of mental health for physical education teachers, and the researcher used the descriptive approach, and the research sample was chosen by stratified random method. In addition to 15 physical education teachers as an exploratory sample who were randomly selected from outside the main research sample and representative of the research community, the data collection tools were represented in the mental health scale for physical education teachers - prepared / researcher. The most important search results were:

- There are statistically significant differences between physical education teachers according to the educational stage (secondary - preparatory) on the mental health scale in favor of physical education teachers in the secondary educational stage in the axes (occupational satisfaction - self-confidence - optimism - the total score of the scale)

- There are differences between the average opinions of the research sample of physical education teachers on the mental health scale according to the variable of experience (5 years - from 5 to 10 years - more than 10 years) in the variables (professional satisfaction - material security - self-confidence - optimism - total degree scale) in favor of the level of experience of more than 10 years in all the variables under consideration.
