Academic motivation and its relationship to the level of ambition for students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Mansoura University

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the relationship between academic motivation and the level of ambition for students of the Faculty of Physical Education at Mansoura University, the descriptive method was used, and the research sample was selected randomly, and its strength reached 1,200 students from the second, third and fourth year students for all disciplines, and the most important results of the research were as follows: There are statistically significant differences between male and female students of the College of Physical Education according to the scale of academic motivation in favor of students. And the presence of statistically significant differences between the different academic stages in the level of academic motivation. And the presence of a statistically significant difference between the three academic stages (the general program, the third school stage, and the fourth stage), and the differences were in favor of the fourth stage. And the presence of non-statistically significant differences between male and female students of the College of Physical Education according to the scale of ambition. And the presence of statistically significant differences between the different educational stages in the level of ambition, except for the axis of the trend towards excellence.
