Analyzing Transparency in Information and Communication Systems within Sport Clubs in Riyadh-Saudi Arabia

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze transparency of information and communication systems within sport clubs in Riyadh-Saudi Arabia.  The researchers used a descriptive survey method and conducted a stratified random sampling which encompassed managers and administrative staff working in government-sponsored clubs affiliated to Saudi General Sports Authority. A questionnaire was carried out to collect data of (205) individuals in total, distributing in (35) clubs and by (35) for each sample. The study concluded that administrations of sport clubs are committed to provide their information to outside communities. This includes preparing guiding manuals for all actions taking place there. Also necessary information is provided in a timely manner to those who need it.  In addition, club administrations communicate the visions of their policies, and a mutual trust does exist between managers and subordinates there. Communication varies within administrative levels.
