Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the Effect of trunk stability drills in Technical Performance of the release phase and record level for the shot-put competitor. The experimental method was used on one experimental group using the (pre – post) measurement, with a sample of (6) Competitors which are signed In the Daqahlia Athletics zone, where the trunk Stability Drills applied on experimental group through a training program for the competition and during the special preparation part for 10 weeks with 4 training modules each week. The measurements were carried out after the measurement of the dimension and then the analysis of the movement to identify the effect of trunk stability drills in Technical Performance of the release phase and record level for the shot-put competitor. The most important conclusion was that the use of trunk stability drills has contributed to the improvement of some physical and biokinematic variables and record level for the shot-put competitor. The most important recommendations the using trunk stability drills as part of the training programs for the shot-put competitor because of its positive results to improve the competitor's ability to control the movement of the limbs, which is reflected in the performance improvement and the record level of the competitor
