Achievement Index in the kumite competition in karate (analytical study)

Abstract

The study aimed to get acquainted with the achievement index in the karate competition in karate sport, as well as to identify both (volume of performance, effectiveness of performance, achievement indicator) and the researchers followed the descriptive approach in the analytical method, and the study was conducted on a sample of (36) karate players who participated in the Palestine Championship (2019 They are the players who hold the four positions in weight group, and the results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the players who obtain the first position and the players who hold different positions in each of (the size of performance, effectiveness of performance, achievement indicator). The researchers recommend the need to focus on analyzing performance in karate competition and work on planning training programs according to this analysis, as well as relying on the achievement indicator to identify the players results to analyze their level and know their strengths and weaknesses.
